What is Playa Mambo?

Playa Mambo is a small paradise in Tulum inspired by ancient Mayan constructions. It has the unique ability of connecting two seemingly disjointed worlds.
One of a quiet private ness that many among us need, a place to disconnect, and that of an establishment that's reminiscent of a quaint New England inn where you share and bond with owners, employees and other guests as you please.
Playa Mambo creates harmony and balance by integrating native, rustic materials, woods and stones with the natural beauty of the ocean.

What to expect?

Our grounds are pristine, the beach is breathtaking. Tulum is an ecological oasis between the warm blue Caribbean ocean and the other side jungle.
Hotels are built using indigenous materials and electricity for most hotels runs off of generators and water is pumped in through wells. The Caribbean breeze and the fan´s in the room give you the right refreshment necessary to stay in cabañas you can find in Playa Mambo.
If you want to disconnect, Playa Mambo is your place to be.

What do we offer?

We have 8 ecological cabañas; all located on the beach no more then a few footsteps away from the Caribbean ocean. Some have a lovely ocean view, a private terrace and wooden decks.
All our cabañas have a bathroom integrated in the naturally build style cabañas with hot water, electricity and a king size bed.
We offer comfortable cabañas build with natural materials and far away from over dwelled luxury.
Playa Mambo and Tulum are not for everyone but those that enjoy traveling to adventurous and exciting places definitely will feel at home with us.
In the grand scheme of things, water pressure, mosquitos and other uninvited guests such as a lost crab from the sea, shouldn't make or break an experience like staying in Tulum.
